1. What this service is

Paper Trader is a subscription software service for practising and studying trading strategies with simulated money only. It provides market monitoring, analytics, alerts and a simulated trading account. It does not place orders on any exchange, does not hold or move money for you, and does not accept deposits or allow withdrawals. Your virtual balance has no cash value and cannot be redeemed.

2. Not financial advice

Nothing in the service is investment, financial, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Simulated results are produced by models of fees, slippage and settlement and differ from what real trading would produce. Past simulated performance does not indicate future results, real or simulated.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account. One person per account. We may suspend accounts that are abused, shared, or used to attack the service.

4. Plans, trials and payment

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel any time in Settings. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, then the plan ends. [Refund policy: e.g. no refunds for partial periods, except where required by law.]

6. Acceptable use

Do not try to access other customers' data, disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it to extract data at scale, or use it for anything unlawful.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. Market data comes from public sources and may be delayed, missing or wrong. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service we will give [30] days' notice and refund any unused prepaid period.

8. Liability

[To be drafted by counsel. Typical points: the service is provided as-is; no liability for decisions you make using it, including real trades made elsewhere; liability capped at fees paid in the previous 12 months; nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under Malaysian law, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999.]

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. [Courts / dispute process.]
